Hi,

Happy to find all your great information. My Great Great Grandmother was Mercy Peacock who was the daughter of William Peacock(b1821) and Mary Chapman. William was one of the sons of William Peacock(b1799) and Mercy Geale.

Came across your site by accident when researching for more information on Thomas Peacock 1791, from Reeth/Cornforth/Trimdon

Very nicely put together and contains a lot of very interesting data....Congratulations on a job well done!

We might be related, but I need to check UK maps on the various towns mentioned to see if there's possibly a connection...then follow up from there

The name Frank Peacock is definitely in my family tree as well as the Tennick and Cook lines from it

Best Wishes,

I recognised quite a few names there, going back as far as Charles of 1775. The next challenge is to find out who Charles's parents were and take the line back another generation or two. Any ideas ? On the Greater Family Tree, the one with many branches, my sister Jan ( MacKinven nee Peacock ) has achieved an incredible 10,016 names, all identified as confirmed links ! Cheers. Gerry ( officially Gerald )

Hi Tony
I have emailed you with my address. Your relationship to Evelyne's husband is 4th cousin x1 removed, the same as to me. Please get in touch and I will help you where I can.

Best wishes

You’ve done well with your research. We are distant cousins – My line comes down from 1) Charles and Martha (our common ancestors) 2) their son Peter who married an Ann Creasy (the witnesses at that marriage in November 1838 were Anthony Peacock and Harriet Peacock (possibly the terminally ill sister?) 3) Peter and Ann’s 5th child – Frances married an Aaron Hunt (from Brenchley) in Edenbridge and they moved to Thurnham. 4) One of the daughters of that marriage - Caroline (who died in childbirth with my Dad) is my Grandmother.
I’m not sure what this makes us – but thank you for the information on Charles and Martha – and a few more siblings than I found.

Best wishes
